FREMONT, California, September 01, 2009 -- Arista Corporation, leader in the design and development of
Industrial Computers today announced the shipment of ARP-5500AX Series NEMA 4X stainless steel fully sealed industrial
computers with integrated 15-inch, 17-inch, and 19-inch TFT LCDs. This series has a resistive touch screen that allows operation
with gloved hands. The ARP-5500AX Series supports two standard configurations: 1.5GHz VIA C7 low power processor, 1GB of
memory or the high performance Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile Processor, 2GB of memory. Both of these standard configurations come
with a 160 GB Hard Drive, one USB port, two serial ports, and two 10/100/1000 LAN ports. This series is available with AC or
DC24V power input options and operates from 0ºC to 50ºC. One of the key features of ARP-5500AX Series is that it supports
multiple mounting options, such as bench top, wall mount, pedestal mount, ceiling, and VESA mount. This feature greatly improves
mounting and installation flexibility.

The ARP-5500AX Series is compliant with IP65 protective standard as it completely supports water proof. Therefore, this series is
an ideal solution for rural and industrial environments which experience constant exposure to moisture and dirt and in environments
where hygiene is important. This series can handle hose down requirements and is resistant to most chemicals used during
cleaning in the food and pharmaceutical industries. The design of ARP-5500AX Series helps cleaning quicker and easier and thus
prevents food waste build up. The ARP-5500AX Series is a space-saving stand-alone industrial computer which can be flexibly
integrated into a number of industrial applications, such as Food Processing, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, and Wastewater
industries.
The ARP-5500AX Series is also incorporated thin client technology into its design. Arista offers ARP-5500AX industrial computer
together with ACP ThinManager. ACP ThinManager provides for instantaneous, automatic failover to any available backup server if
the client detects problems with the primary server. ACP Enabled ARP-5500AX can support industrial specific I/O (even very high
speed serial data) and user devices. ThinManager has an automatic configuration option for any new ACP Enable ARP-5500AX
clients added to the network. With ACP ThinManager Suite, advanced thin client management software, it makes ARP-5500AX
ideal fail-save equipment for HMI/SCADA applications on the plant floor.
